Have you ever wanted to create you own game? Or maybe you are a fan of retro-style RPGs. Or perhaps you used a previous version of RPGMaker or you just enjoy playing games? Either way, RPGMAKER MV will allow you to create and play extraordinary adventures filled with almost anything you can imagine.
Personally, I am excited for the new features which will allow you to have more customizations than ever, on more platoforms than ever, and the freedom to have even more control over your game.
You can now create or play on your mobile devices, Mac, or PC

Windows/EXE
MacOSX/APP
Android/APK
iOS/IPA
HTML 5 for Web Browsers
Also has Mouse & Touch Input Support
Even more customization and easier management with JavaScrpit and plugin manager.
"RPG Maker MV uses the well known JavaScript, in combination with HTML5 export. By mastering Javascript, you will be able to change the game to your liking, from Battles to Menu UIs. This feature is oriented to experienced developers. You now have the ability to control all parts of the game. No more hidden classes!"
I am slightly dissappointed about this. In the previous version of RPGMaker (VX), you wrote code using Ruby which took me quiet sometime time to teach myself. I am also excited for the change to JavaScprit though. It will allow for tons more control of your game and with the new HTML5 support. Now you will be able to make you games web-based. The addition of the new plugin manager will use .js files (JavaScript). This will allow for easier management of your scpirts. With the new manager, you scrpits are plug-and-play, can be turned off and on as needed, and you can even look at the parameters that are being used in your scripts. All of this is awesome news for people who write scripts for their games.
You can now change the perspective of the battle-system easily

This is not the greatest of the new features, but with a tick of a box you can change the view from the traditional front-view to a side view.

Improvements over previous versions of RPGMaker
Larger database of items! Now supports up to 2000 unique items.
Better resolution! Previous versions used 544x416. RPGMaker MV is be at 816x624.
Event Searcher is comeing back! The Event Searcher from RPGMaker 2003 is back.
Better map design with 3 layers! Makes it eaiser to create and edit maps.
I cannot wait to try out all the new features. If you are interested in pre-ordering RPGMaker MV, you can go to their site, here.
